It’s been a long while since anyone’s been able to say this, but the Rams are one of the hottest teams in the league.  Over the past four games the Rams have gone 3-1, and are just one poor decision from a 4-0 winning streak.  Over that span they’ve been the most dominant defensive force in the game, posting back to back shut outs for the first time anywhere in the NFL since 2009.  It seems like everything is finally falling into place for the St. Louis Rams if only just a little too late.  If they’d been able the come out on top in just one or two more games at the beginning of the season, the media would likely be picking the Rams as dark horse Super Bowl Contender, peaking at just the right time.  But at 6-7, even winning out likely won’t be enough to sneak into the playoffs.  Even so, with two of their final three games against division opponents, they have perfect opportunity to send a message to the entire league about what to expect in 2015.
