The wide receiver position is extremely deep this year.  That depth can lead to overlooking some of the small school guys who haven’t gotten the press that a player like Marqise Lee got during his career at USC, nor the quick trip up the draft board a player like Donte Moncrief  experienced after the combine.

The lack of exposure doesn’t change the fact that there are some very nice prospects from the small schools in this draft.  Many of these guys would be 2nd or 3rd round picks in years past, but will fall to day three in 2014 due to the unusual depth of this year’s class. There are four receivers, with a variety of skill-sets, whom I find especially interesting.

There are five quarterbacks in the 2014 NFL draft who are expected to be drafted in the first or second rounds:  Teddy Bridgewater, Derek Carr, Blake Bortles, Johnny Manziel, and Jimmy Garoppolo.  I am of the opinion that all five of those quarterbacks will be drafted in round one.
